Description
The chemical feed system provides coagulant and polymers; aluminum sulfate (alum), Polymer 1 (Aqua Hawk 2987), Polymer 2 (Vikchem 201), and Polymer 3 Filter Aid as required for chemical addition to the filtration process. The operating conditions and scenarios described below include but are not limited to the majority of conditions and scenarios which will be encountered. Specific operational procedures for chemical systems are described further in Chapter 4.
