Description
The Plant Control System (PCS) controls the operation of the Water Treatment Plant (WTP) and all individual control systems, equipment and instrumentation. The WTP may be placed in AUTO mode operation or operated in HAND mode. The Plant is generally only run in HAND mode. Plant START and STOP in AUTO is based on the water level in the clearwell, where a level transducer is installed. A low clearwell level will initiate plant production and a high clearwell level will stop the plant.
