Performance Records

Performance records are vital because:

  1. Past plant performance can be reviewed to evaluate the effectiveness of present operations and proposed modifications.
  2. They provide a means to monitor effects of unforeseen changes in influent characteristics, waste collection systems, industrial contributions, changes in operational procedures, elimination of discharge, or other significant activities.

Daily Check List Development

Operator shifts should include daily facility checks of the plant equipment and plant SCADA system. The following pages provide a guideline for development of daily check lists. The Plant Superintendent should work with plant Operators to develop daily check lists and a program of tracking plant performance.
